Carol and Dale have a sound that is a unique blend of harmonies, creative guitar work, and out of the ordinary lyrics. It is a sound that has been evolving for almost 20 years:husband and wife team, Dale Whitehead and Carol Warren began playing music together in Richmond, Va in the early 90’s. In 1994 they moved to Nashville, TN, where they continue to play as a duo, collaborating with a wide variety of other musicians. They host an annual music festival at their u-pick berry farm called The Blackberry Jam. Dale had toured with artists such as Clint Black and Phish, and tuned for many more, while Carol has an established music studio, teaching piano and guitar, and serving on the faculty of Kids on Stage. Their first album “Read the Signs” came out in 2005, and they are currently working on the second to be released soon.
